The code lineage starts from upstream Zed and is continuously rebased against new releases. Fork-specific patches live on top and are reviewed in the public repository before they ship to users.
Neo Zed is not affiliated with Zed Industries and does not share their cloud, billing, or identity systems. Upstream trademarks and brand assets are not used to represent the fork. Credit for the editor itself belongs to Zed Industries and the broader Zed contributor community.
